CARPET MAINTENANCE – USAGE MANUAL


  • The carpet should not be beaten during cleaning, it should rather be cleaned using a powerful vacuum cleaner preferably every day.
  • Hard things and objects put on the carpet should not be left on the same place for a long time and the place of the carpet or objects should be changed in certain intervals.
  • Regardless of its type no substance (water, tea, iron etc.) with a temperature of over 50°C should be contacted with the carpet.
  • Cleaning of the carpet should be performed using a special carpet shampoo with carpet washing machine. While the cleaning substances used falsely give harm to the carpet, it shall cause differences in colors and discolorations as well.
  • After the carpet is cleaned it should be dried in a short time, should never be left moist. If the carpet is left wet, deformations caused by mildews may occur.
  • The carpet should not be left under direct sunlight for a long time.
  • The carpet should be kept away from such chemical substances as detergent, hard surface cleaners, bleach, and hydrochloric acid. Such substances and the like should never be used for cleaning.
  • The liquid poured on the carpet should immediately caused to be absorbed by an absorbing cloth, paper towel or vacuum cleaner from the carpet and process should be applied as instructed in stain removal instructions according to the type of the substance poured.
  • For the stains emerging on the carpet, one should apply to carpet cleaning companies.
  • The carpet should never be folded while being carried or stored. It should always be carried or stored in roll in the direction of winding. The place of storage should not be moist.
  • With regard to the carpets produced using cut fibers some amount of fluff is unavoidable. In such carpets cleaned using strong vacuum cleaner regularly this shall decrease very much within a short period of time.
  • If the carpet remaining under weight is desired to be removed by pulling, this shall cause overlock seams and back knitting to be pulled out.
